Pieter Driessen
1924 – 2015

Pieter Driessen & Sons go back to 1952 when Pieter Driessen decided to go out on his own and start up the business. Born in Gennep, The Netherlands Pieter study his trade full time for three years at Nijmegen Trade College then worked a number of years for painters in his area before, immigrating to Australia 1951. Living in Fairlight and later moving to Seaforth he began to service the Northern Beaches. Pieter eventually retired and handed the business over to his two sons in 1984.

Frank Driessen
Painter

Born and raised in Manly, Frank began his apprenticeship in 1970 and studied Painting & Decorating at Sydney Technical College, NSW, for 3 years, followed by a Signwriting Course for another year. He became a Partner with his father in 1974 and later shared the business with his brother in 1984. Frank has served as a Councillor on the Master Painters Board. Licence number R58094.

Andy Driessen
Painter

Also born and raised in Manly, Andy began his apprenticeship in 1974 and studied Painting & Decorating at Sydney Technical College, NSW, for 3 years, followed by a Wallpapering Course for another year. He became a Partner with his father and brother in 1978 and later shared the business with his brother in 1984. Andy has also served as a Councillor on the Master Painters Board. Licence number R58095
